Bergama Museum is one of the archaeological and historical treasures in Bergama district of Izmir, which was opened after excavating most of the artifacts from the Early Bronze Age to the Byzantine period in Bergama and its environments. The museum includes many archaeological collections that were taken from ancient settlements, such as antiques, statues and metal pieces. Carpets and rugs that were woven by hand, textile samples, hand embroidery and handicrafts belonging to other regions of Anatolia are displayed in the ethnography section.
