One of the most famous museums in the country is the Belarusian National Museum of History and Culture, and its holdings contain the largest museum collections in Belarus, numbering about 500,000 objects. The museum structure consists of 5 branches: the Memorial House of the First Congress, the Museum of the History of Belarusian Cinema, the Museum of Theater and History of Musical Culture of the Republic of Belarus, the Museum of Nature and Environment of the Republic of Belarus, and the State Museum of Contemporary Belarus.
