Tartu was the origin of the Estonian beer industry and has been a beer city for nearly a thousand years. The exhibition tells the story of beer brewing around the world and in Estonia in particular, from beer culture in ancient Egypt to the present day. The museum's collection includes equipment used to make beer at home, as well as old industrial brewing equipment.
