Tartu Dome Church, located on Tommy Hill, is one of the largest churches in Estonia. It is also the only medieval church with two towers in Estonia. The construction of the church began in the thirteenth century and the church was completely completed at the beginning of the sixteenth century. It was destroyed in the Livonian War and since then has not functioned as a church. Its ruins are one of the most prominent examples of Gothic brick buildings in ancient Livonia.
