The Baxianshan National Forest Recreation Area is located on the regional highway leading to Taichung City. Its altitude ranges from 750 to 2424 meters above sea level, and it covers an area of 2,492 hectares. The highest point in this area is Central Bassian Mountain. These forests have many beautiful natural areas, such as rivers, springs, and many evergreen trees such as maples and pears, and have been nominated as one of the eight best scenic destinations in Taiwan.
