The Bab al-Qantara Bridge is one of the four famous bridges that cross the Rommel Strait in Constantine, Algeria, and is the oldest of them. It has taken several different forms over the years; From a Roman-style multi-arch bridge to a French iron arch of 1863 to its current form as a concrete arch bridge, partial remains of earlier stone bridges can still be seen on top of this stunning natural bridge.
