Ayanapa Cathedral, located in the city of Limassol, was built in the period between the late nineteenth century AD and the beginning of the twentieth century, on the ruins of an ancient Byzantine church. It is a shrine of religious value and historical importance. It also enjoys its old arcades, marble icon, beautiful frescoes and exquisite architectural design.
