Information about Augustinian Church
This church was built to serve the royal court of the Habsburg dynasty. Built in 1339, the church was on the palace grounds, but with the passage of time the palace and church expanded, and now it is part of the palace. The church houses a convent for Augustinian friars, as you can imagine this church has hosted many royal functions over the centuries, including the wedding of Archduchess Marie-Louis to Napoleon Bonaparte in 1810.
