One of the important monuments in the city of Amasya, located in the main square of the city. This monument honors the founder of the modern Turkish state, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. The monument represents Ataturk on a horse and next to it is a large plaque that provides visitors with information about Ataturk's great stature. Due to its presence in the city center, there are other historical monuments and two mosques on its side, as well as gardens, parks and seating areas suitable for families and groups.
