The banner of the Great Arab Revolt, or as it is called the Aqaba Flagstaff, is one of the distinctive landmarks of the city of Aqaba, which tourists come to see. It is a huge mast with a height of 130 meters, and this height makes it the sixth tallest free-standing mast and the seventh tallest flagpole in the world, and it was the tallest free-standing flagpole in the world until it was surpassed by the 133-meter-high Ashgabat flagpole in 2008.
