Aq Sanqur Mosque, Ibrahim Agha Mosque, or Blue Mosque is one of several mosques with the same name in other cities; It gets its name from the gorgeous blue tiles that cover its walls; It is the largest mosque in the Bab al-Wazir district of Cairo, and is characterized by its classic design with a large central courtyard and four halls including the main prayer hall. The mosque complex includes Mamluk mausoleums for the mosque's founder and restorer, as well as Ibn Aksanqar and the owner of the adjacent house.
