The magnificent Antim Monastery with its elegant dome and golden coating was built between 1708 and 1715 on the orders of the Patriarch of the Orthodox Church of Wallachia at the time, and the bell tower through which we enter today was added to the monastery in 1857, and the monastery church deserves special admiration, thanks to its icons. The palatial depicting scenes from Nativity and Apocalypse, painted by Peter Alexandrescu in 1812.
