The historic Ambassadors Park is located in the center of the city, and is one of the most beautiful public squares in Mexican Guanajuato. In the center sits the famous column of freedom made by local artist Jesús Fructuoso Contreras. The garden also consists of two parts, the first circular in shape and containing a fountain Carved in the middle, and the second section is rectangular in shape, with a monument to the national flag, decorated with the shape of a military man and a miner.
