Altamora is an important ancient town located in the heart of the Puglia region in southeastern Italy, and it was established as a settlement since ancient times, even as it was surrounded by rock walls built in the fifth and third centuries BC, and parts of it are still visible in the road called “Corso Umberto I” It also has many monuments, especially its famous cathedral and the Archeology Museum.
