Home of the German Renaissance artist Albrecht Dürer, a German painter who lived in Nuremberg He showed his talent for oil painting, and he made many sketches and some watercolors from 1509 until his death in 1528. The house is located in the far northwest of Altstadt, near Nuremberg Castle and the city walls. There are tours of the house to get acquainted with it and the exhibits by the existing staff.
