The Sayyida Zainab Mosque is located in Cairo in the heart of the square that bears the name of Sayyida Zainab, the granddaughter of the Prophet (may God bless him and grant him peace), and is considered one of the most important and largest historical mosques in Egypt. It is light over the section in front of the old porthole, while the mausoleum is located to the west of the mosque and is surrounded by a room made of golden brass and surmounted by a dome.
