Qasr Al-Hosn symbolizes the ancient history of the Sultanate of Oman and testifies to the birth of the founder of the Omani revolution, Sultan Qaboos bin Said bin Taimur. It also contains the second copy of the will addressed to the Noble Family Council through the Defense Council, which stipulated the transfer of the ruler’s mandate to Sultan Haitham bin Tariq. The palace is characterized by a refined white building with a traditional urban design that reflects the ancient Omani heritage.
