Souk al-Hamidiyah is located inside the old town of Damascus. It is one of the antique markets that was established in the nineteenth century AD on the ancient Roman track. It is considered the largest central market in Syria, with a length of 600 meters and a width of up to 10 meters. This covered market includes many shops and kiosks that offer popular foods, shops of goods, products, industries, handicrafts, and others.
