Information about Al Hadba Minaret
The Al-Hadba minaret was built in 1172 by the Seljuk ruler Nur al-Din as part of the religious complex that included the Al-Nuri Mosque, and was 45 meters high, decorated with ornate brickwork. It was given its current popular name, "Al-Hadba", when it began to tilt noticeably. Regardless of the renovations to the other monuments of the complex, the minaret remained intact, preserving its original elements of the medieval complex.
