Information about Al Azem Palace
Al-Azm Palace was built in the eighteenth century AD, and was initially allocated to the Ottoman governor and ruler of Damascus, Ahmed Pasha the Great, and continued until the 1920s, then it was converted into a museum dedicated to folklore and arts. This palace is a wonderful example of ancient Damascene houses and an amazing example of masterpieces of Islamic architecture, with a simple exterior design, Levantine arcades, and distinctive interior furniture.
