It is a museum that was built in honor of the Prince of Poets Ahmed Shawky in Cairo, Egypt and is located specifically on the Nile Corniche. The museum includes many valuable works of Ahmed Shawky. Inside the museum on the ground floor there are about 332 books, in addition to many drafts of manuscripts of his poetry in his own handwriting. There are also works in the museum attributed to the singer and composer Mohamed Abdel Wahab, who was introduced by Ahmed Shawky to art, and who presented works written by Ahmed Shawky. There is also a library in the museum containing recordings of a singing performance by Abdel Wahab, in the presence of Ahmed Shawky.
