The Agha Hammam is the oldest Turkish bath in Istanbul. It was built by the Fatih Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror (the Seventh Ottoman Padishah), and it was designated for the use of the Sultan and his sons only. The bathroom is distinguished by its heritage design, with arches, open outdoor courtyards, and Arabic floor seating. Today, the hammam is one of the most important tourist attractions visited by tourists from all over the world, due to its historical importance and the massage rooms, saunas and distinctive massage sessions it offers.
