The monastery church is located near the northern entrance to the Tihany Peninsula. It is a small Romanesque church in the Romanesque style and origins from the 12th and 13th centuries; It is also the only remaining part of the Abbey's church. Although this church was destroyed during the Turkish occupation of Hungary, it has retained its historical and archaeological splendor and has become a home for concerts and cultural events.
