Founded in 1994 AD, the Tihany Doll Museum is home to a large collection of antique dolls (more than 500 pieces), some of which are up to half a century old, and are considered collectibles of cultural importance recognized throughout Europe in the period between 1840- 1920 AD. In addition to the dolls, there is a special collection of home furnishings that describe the taste of the aristocrats and the way of life of the bourgeoisie in the region, along with Hungarian folk costumes.
