Jazan is a coastal city and the capital of the Jazan region, located in the southwestern corner of Saudi Arabia on the Red Sea and just north of the border with Yemen. Its privileged location has enabled it to own many tourist attractions, most notably; Al Marjan Island, which is suitable for lovers of water activities and beach sports, Jizan Beach, which provides services, facilities and family sessions, and Mount Fifa, which is characterized by a moderate climate in summer and is covered with perennial mountains and green plants, and Jazan Dam Lake, which lies between a series of high mountains ending in the west with a coastal plain and gradually sloped towards the Red Sea. Among its most important historical landmarks; Al-Najdi Palace in the region of the Persia Islands, and the Ottoman Citadel, which is one of the ancient buildings and its roof is made of palm leaves on pillars of railway tracks.
