Baisan has many ancient ruins that have made it a prominent tourist destination. It includes many remains of temples, churches, tombs and columns dating back thousands of years, and the majority of the antiquities in the city date back to the period of Islamic rule of the city, such as the remains of demolished Arab houses, and the city combines ancient and modern places together. This is its geographical location, as it is located on the trade route that extends from Syria and Jordan until it reaches Palestine. As for the climate, the city is affected by its location in the Ghor and its proximity to the Marj Ibn Amer plain, so the influences of the Mediterranean reach it and the humidity rises.
