The city of Al-Ula is an amazing archaeological city in the heart of the desert, located near the province of Medina, and is considered as a living open-air museum. It is full of heritage sites and amazing natural wonders worth exploring. This city was mentioned by many historical manuscripts, including the Al-Hamawi Sapphire Lexicon. , as the Prophet Muhammad passed by on his way to the Battle of Tabuk, and planned to build a mosque, and set its boundaries with bones, so the people of the city built it and called it the “Mosque of the Bones.” There are also dozens of ancient monuments, including houses, shops and palaces, in addition to a group of preserved tombs and stone outcrops. sandbars, historic dwellings and interesting monuments, both natural and man-made, that hold 200,000 years of largely undiscovered human history.
