Adana is located in southern Turkey on the Seyhan River, 35 km from the Mediterranean Sea in south-central Anatolia. It is the administrative headquarters of the Adana Province and has a population of about 1.75 million, making it the fifth most populous city in Turkey. This city is characterized by the presence of many wonderful tourist attractions that attract visitors from all over the world, as it includes picturesque natural features of vast green spaces, and spread in Adana gardens and parks stretching on both sides of the Seyhan River, including Ataturk Park, Süleyman Demirel Park and the large Adana Center park that he visits.
