Adana is located in southern Turkey on the Seyhan River, 35 km from the Mediterranean Sea in south-central Anatolia. It is the administrative headquarters of the Adana Province and has a population of about 1.75 million, making it the fifth most populous city in Turkey. This city is characterized by the presence of many wonderful tourist attractions that attract visitors from all over the world, as it includes picturesque natural features of vast green spaces, and spread in Adana gardens and parks stretching on both sides of the Seyhan River, including Ataturk Park, Süleyman Demirel Park and the large Adana Center park that he visits. A large number of locals and tourists, and it also includes public squares, and mosques such as the main Spangi Mosque, the Ulu Mosque and the Hasan Agha Mosque, and it has four Armenian, Greek and Latin churches, and other historical monuments and natural manifestations that made it a major tourist destination in Turkey.
