Zug is one of the 26 Swiss regions. It is a small region with a total area of approximately 240 km2. It is famous in the tourist and local circles for its long history, as the first mention of it in archaeological manuscripts dates back to the Paleolithic Age, that is, to the years between 12400-9250 BC. Therefore, tourists in this region will be able to visit and explore dozens of archaeological monuments from different time periods. UNESCO has placed some monuments in the region on the World Heritage List due to their beauty and antiquity.
