The Visayas archipelago consists of a group of close together islands that can be moved between by boat. It is the cradle of the country in which a large part of the rich history of the Philippines was formed. It was the scene of the Spanish and Catholic colonization process and some battles of World War II. Visayas has many attractions that attract thousands of tourists every year. It has beautiful beaches, tropical forests, coral reefs, and world-class diving and diving sites. The Chocolate Hills, located on the island of Bohol, are considered one of its most prominent attractions.
