Southern Savonia, or as it is also called South Savo, is one of Finland's 19 provinces, located in the east of the country, and is one of the country's 27 national natural areas. This region is famous for its magnificent scenery and endless opportunities for outdoor activities and excursions. There are 36 named peaks in the province, the highest and most prominent of which is Tournikangas Peak.
