The canton of Schaffhausen in Switzerland is known for its unique natural diversity, as it includes some of the most important natural landmarks in the world, such as the Rhine Falls and the picturesque Lake Constance. But these unique natural landmarks are not all that the city offers to its visitors, as it also contains majestic historical landmarks, starting with the city of Schaffhausen (the canton’s capital), which dates back to the Middle Ages, and ending with remote villages that include cathedrals, some of which date back to the fourth century AD. Wine tasting festivals are also held in the region every summer, and visitors eager to try fine Swiss wines from all over the world come to participate in these festivals.
