Menoufia Governorate is one of the Egyptian governorates located north of Cairo in the south of the Nile Delta, and its capital is the city of Shebin El-Kom. Due to its location near the Nile River, its lands enjoy fertile soil, very suitable for agriculture, so the main economic activity of its residents is agriculture, in addition to the presence of the largest industrial cities in it, specifically in Sadat City. The governorate includes one of the best universities in Egypt, Menoufia University, which is visited by city residents and even some foreign students.
