Dakahlia Governorate is one of Egypt's many governorates, and it was named after the village of Dakahlia, an ancient village currently located in the center of Zarqa, Damietta Governorate. The governorate is located in the northeastern sector of the Nile Delta around the Damietta branch. Dakahlia has a great history in the history of wars and confronting them, as it remained steadfast in the face of invasions. Industrial castles are spread everywhere in the governorate, and it is famous for several ancient and diverse industries, the most important of which are fertilizers, chemical industries, spinning and weaving, ready-made clothing, hydrogenation of oils, soap, particleboard, printing and publishing, in addition to small and environmental industries that extend throughout all the villages and districts of the governorate.
