The state of Bordj Badji Mokhtar is an Algerian state that was created in 2019. It is located at an altitude of 401 meters in the Tanzoft plain. It is a desolate and mostly flat area in the Great Algerian Sahara. It is famous for its traditional desert character, and includes a group of distinctive tourist attractions, the most prominent of which is Abdel Malek Park, which contains a simple café, a swimming pool, and traditional rooms built of local wood, straw, and palm fronds.
