It is also known as the “Sparkling Pearl of Africa,” as it is famous for its tall palm trees and is characterized by its picturesque natural landscapes. Biskra has always been a hub and crossroads between cities. In the north and south, it has witnessed several civilizations on its land throughout history, including the Romans, Arabs and French, which enriched its historical and cultural scene.
