The state of Ain Defla is located in northern Algeria, and includes many archaeological sites dating back to the most remote eras of history, including those dating back to the Roman and Turkish eras, which still constitute attractions to this day, the most famous of which is the Roman site of Karkara. The region is also rich in ancient heritage. It has preserved its ancient culture, customs and traditions, which include making pottery, baskets and traditional clothing.
