Jehlava Zoo is home to more than 200 species of animals, as it includes about 1,000 animals, including exotic and endangered species. The zoo specializes in raising carnivores, cats, monkeys and wild reptiles. The park was established in 1982, and was the ninth zoo in the world, and visitors can visit the "African Savannah" exhibition, which includes tours of ostriches and giraffes, as well as desert cats and foxes.
