The Zion Church, which dates back to 1695, is the oldest church still standing in Jakarta. It was built during the Dutch colonial era. It has impressive architecture that attracts people in droves throughout the year, and was built to cater to minorities commonly referred to as “Black Portuguese” who were oppressed at that time.
