The house of Mrs. Zainab Khatoun is an ancient archaeological house and one of the prominent tourist attractions in Cairo, which is located specifically behind the Al-Azhar Mosque. The house is distinguished by its wonderful architectural design, as it still preserves its ancient character. The house dates back to 1486, when Princess Shaqra Hanim, granddaughter of Sultan Al-Nasir Hasan bin Qalawun built this beautiful house and this house remained her property until 1517. The house is considered a popular destination for filming movies and TV series, so you must have seen it before in one of them.
