Jason Church is located in the Ras Jason Natural and Archaeological District on the border of Çaytepe village in Perşembe Province, on a small peninsula facing the sea. This area is currently a protected area by the State Environmental Authority, classified as Class II. The church still stands here, with the ruins of its garden wall. Portions of these ruins can be found all over the sea coast. Ancient harbors and fish farming ponds can also be seen today. It was built by the Georgians and some Greeks who used to live in the area.
