Wilpattu National Park is located on the northwest coast of Sri Lanka near Anuradhapura. It is a nature reserve famous for its beautiful water basins surrounded by open grassy plains. In its south, the Mudirgam Aru River and in its north the Kalay Oya River. You can get to know them during a half-day safari.
