This park was established in 1968 in the city of Pforzheim. It is open daily from 7 am to 8 pm. It is home to more than 400 mammals, fish and birds in an area of about 16 hectares (10,000 square metres) and includes 70 animal species. For children, there are many beautiful and entertaining offers such as: a forest climbing park, a petting zoo, a children's farm, and two playgrounds. The Nature Education Center Ewald-Steinle-Haus, located on the grounds of the theme park, hosts exhibitions and workshops to improve the park on a regular basis.
