Wasserburg Museum of Modern Art was founded in 1991 and quickly became one of the most prestigious international museums of modern art in Europe. The museum has a scenic location within an old building located on the river bank. It is one of the largest museums of modern art in Germany with an area of about 6000 square meters. The museum focuses on works of art from the sixties to the present, including paintings, statues, sculptures and models, and it contains the largest collection of published artworks in Europe.
