Historic building located on the waterfront of Wellington Harbour. The conversion of this historic building into a museum was completed in 1999. The museum began in 1972 with another name and was renovated and restored and given this new name. It is a distinguished museum that talks about the social history of the local people through the stories told inside it through some artworks, steam engines, time machines and many more.
