The weavers’ fort is located under the supervision of the Syndicate of Linen Weavers, which is the reason for acquiring this name. It was built in two phases, the first between 1421 and 1436 and the second between 1570 and 1573. This fort played a prominent role in protecting the city from external invasions. The first is large shooting holes for the use of heavy-caliber firearms and large launchers, and today visitors flock to it from various regions to explore the mysteries of this important archaeological landmark.
