Wat Yansangwararam, known locally as Wat Yan, is the most important Buddhist temple complex in Pattaya. It is actually a huge complex containing a group of buildings, monuments, lakes and stupas covering about 150 acres. Unlike other places of worship, the complex contains buildings used for meditation sessions Training for monks, schools and accommodation for monks and novices. The largest chedi temple or pagoda here is more than 40 meters high and contains a collection of Buddhist relics.
