This Buddhist temple is as peaceful as possible, located in the forest, sitting next to a waterfall and hiding under the tree canopy. It may be completely out of the ordinary, but it has an amazing overview of Chiang Mai that is worth admiring. Dragons, elephants and mysterious creatures are an intrinsic part of the environment this temple creates. It was originally used as a resting place for people walking to worship in Doi Suthep. But once the road was built in 1935, Doi Suthep was easily accessible. Wat Pha Lat in turn became a residence for monks.
