Wat Mahathat Waruihan or as it is known locally as Wat Na Phrathat Temple is one of the most famous and oldest Buddhist temples in the city. It is believed that it was built between the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries of the Buddhist era. It contains many Buddhist murals and statues, and tourists can have a tour inside the place and learn about its most important features.
