Khao Takrao Temple is one of the most important Buddhist temples in Phetchaburi. It was designed in the ancient Chinese style of temples, and it gained its fame because it contained a large image of Buddha known as Luang Fu Khao Takhrao and it is believed that it is one of the largest images that the locals found near the Mai River Klong, located about 12 kilometers from the city, can be visited by tourists interested in Buddhism.
